David C. Dvorak
President and Chief Executive Officer -
David Dvorak was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors on May 1, 2007.
Mr. Dvorak joined Zimmer in December 2001 shortly following the spin-off from Bristol-Myers Squibb. Prior to joining Zimmer, he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for STERIS Corporation, an Ohio-based leader in medical products sterilization and contamination prevention products and services. He practiced law with two major Ohio firms with a focus on corporate law, securities and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Dvorak received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from Miami University (OH) and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was awarded The Order of the Coif. -
Cheryl R. Blanchard, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Scientific Officer -
Dr. Blanchard was appointed Senior Vice President, Research and Development and Chief Scientific Officer of Zimmer in December 2005. She is responsible for Global Research, Global Development, Emerging Technologies, Global Quality and Regulatory, and Global Medical Affairs which includes Surgeon Training and Education, Clinical Affairs and Health Economics. From October 2003 to December 2005, Dr. Blanchard served as Vice President, Corporate Research and Clinical Affairs; from August 2002 to October 2003, she served as Vice President, Research and Biologics; and from October 2000 to August 2002, she served as Director, Research. Prior to joining Zimmer in October 2000, Dr. Blanchard served in Manager, Professor and Fellow roles at the Southwest Research Institute, the University of Texas Health Science Center and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Dr. Blanchard earned her Ph.D. and an M.S. degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science degree in ceramic engineering from Alfred University in Alfred, New York.

James T. Crines
Executive Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer -
Mr. Crines was appointed Executive Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer of Zimmer in May 2007.
From December 2005 until April 2007, Mr. Crines served as Senior Vice President, Finance, Operations and Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. From October 2003 to December 2005, Mr. Crines served as Senior Vice President, Finance/Controller and Information Technology. From July 2001 to October 2003, Mr. Crines served as Vice President, Finance/Controller and from September 2000 to July 2001, he served as Vice President, Finance and Information Technology. Mr. Crines served Zimmer, Inc. as Director of Finance and Logistics, Japan from May 1999 until September 2000. Prior to joining Zimmer from its former parent, Mr. Crines served in financial management roles at American Cyanamid and as a Senior Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. -
Derek Davis
Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer -
Derek Davis was appointed Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer in May 2007. He has responsibility for internal and external reporting, planning and analysis, and corporate and business unit accounting. He began his career at Zimmer in 2003, and has held positions of increasing responsibility including Director of Operations Finance and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and Corporate Accounting. Prior to joining Zimmer, Mr. Davis served as Vice President Finance/Corporate Controller for International Wire and as Senior Financial Analyst for Phelps Dodge Corporation. Mr. Davis has over 15 years of experience in corporate finance/accounting, planning and analysis, cost accounting, and operations management. Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from Indiana University and is a CPA.

William P. (Bill) Fisher
Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources -
Mr. Fisher was appointed Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources of Zimmer in July 2009. He has extensive global leadership experience in human resources, including 15 years in increasingly responsible roles within General Electric. Prior to joining Zimmer, Mr. Fisher served as Vice President of Human Resources for ArvinMeritor in Detroit, Michigan, where he was responsible for all human resources for that company's global Light Vehicle Systems business. At General Electric, Mr. Fisher served as Senior Corporate Human Resources Executive for the Legal, EHS and Strategy functions at the company's Connecticut headquarters; Senior Human Resources Leader for GE Healthcare's Global Supply Chain in Wisconsin; and Senior Director of Human Resources for GE Plastics, located in Indiana. Mr. Fisher holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, a Master of Science in Organization Development from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA in Human Resources from Indiana University.

Norman D. Finch Jr.
Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer -
Norm Finch was appointed Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Zimmer in October 2009. In his role as Chief Compliance Officer, Mr. Finch has primary responsibility for Zimmer's global corporate compliance program. As Associate General Counsel, he oversees the legal affairs of Zimmer's Americas segment and Reconstructive division, as well as a variety of other legal matters. Mr. Finch joined Zimmer in 2005 as Associate Counsel. From December 2005 to May 2007, he served as Americas and Global Marketing Counsel. From May 2007 to December 2007, Mr. Finch served as Assistant General Counsel, Americas, and from December 2007 to October 2009, he served as Associate General Counsel. Prior to joining Zimmer, Mr. Finch practiced law with the firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University and his J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif.

Jon E. Kramer
President, U.S. Sales -
Mr. Kramer was appointed President, U.S. Sales of Zimmer in December 2005. He is responsible for Zimmer's sales activities throughout the United States. From August 2004 to December 2005, Mr. Kramer served as President, Americas. From October 2003 to August 2004, Mr. Kramer served as Vice President, U.S. Sales, and from 2001 to October 2003, he served as Area Vice President for the Southeast region of the United States. Prior to joining Zimmer, Mr. Kramer served as Vice President of Sales for Implex Corp. Zimmer acquired Implex Corp. in 2004, and the company formerly known as Implex is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zimmer. Mr. Kramer has over 20 years of sales experience in the orthopaedics industry

Jeffery A. McCaulley
President, Zimmer Reconstructive -
Jeffery A. McCaulley was appointed President, Zimmer Reconstructive in November 2008. He has responsibility for activities in the reconstructive devices market, including Global Marketing and Americas Sales.
Mr. McCaulley brings extensive leadership experience in medical technology, including devices, services, software, and informatics. He most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Health Division of Wolters Kluwer, the leading provider of information and workflow solutions for healthcare professionals, providers, payors, and the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer in 2004, he served three years as Vice President and General Manager of the Diabetes Division of Medtronic, Inc. He began his medical devices career in 1989 with General Electric Medical Systems, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, and general management, last serving as President and CEO of GE Clinical Services.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Mr. McCaulley also holds an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.

Bruno Melzi
Chairman, Europe, Africa and Middle East -
Bruno Melzi is Chairman, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Melzi joined Zimmer, Inc. in 1990 as Managing Director. In 2003, Mr. Melzi was promoted to Chairman International, from Vice President and Managing Director of Italy, Germany and Switzerland, a position he held since October 1997, to his current position. Mr. Melzi has more than 35 years experience in the orthopaedics and medical products industry. Before joining Zimmer, Inc., Mr. Melzi served as General Manager and member of the Board of Directors of Johnson & Johnson Italy from 1983 to 1990, as Smith & Nephew's business director for Italy from 1982 to 1983 and as executive marketing director for Johnson & Johnson's Ethicon suture division from 1980 to 1982. Mr. Melzi holds a degree in law from the University of Pavia, Italy.

Stephen H. L. Ooi
President, Asia Pacific -
Mr. Ooi was appointed President, Asia Pacific of Zimmer in December 2005. He is responsible for overall operations in the Asia Pacific region, including responsibility for Japan. Following Zimmer's acquisition of Centerpulse, Mr. Ooi served as President, Australasia from September 2003 to December 2005, where he was responsible for operations in Asia Pacific, excluding Japan. From September 2002 to September 2003, Mr. Ooi served as President, Asia Pacific region, and from January 1992 to September 2002, Mr. Ooi served as Vice President, Asia. Mr. Ooi joined Zimmer in March 1986 as Regional Manager and was promoted to General Manager, Asia in February 1987.

Chad F. Phipps
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary -
Chad Phipps was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Zimmer in May 2007. He has global responsibility for Zimmer's legal affairs and he serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors. Mr. Phipps also oversees our Government Affairs, Corporate Communication and Public Relations activities. From December 2005 to May 2007, Mr. Phipps served as Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, and from September 2003 to December 2005, he served as Associate Counsel and Assistant Secretary. In his prior roles, Mr. Phipps has overseen our legal affairs in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific, and has had primary responsibility for corporate governance, securities and other corporate legal matters. Prior to joining Zimmer, Mr. Phipps served as Vice President and General Counsel of L&N Sales and Marketing, Inc. in Pennsylvania, and prior to joining L&N, he practiced law with the firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia, focusing on corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and financial transactions. Mr. Phipps received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, with an English major from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, and his J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law in Philadelphia.

Richard C. Stair
Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Logistics -
Rick Stair is Senior Vice President, Global Operations and Logistics. Mr. Stair has direct responsibility for Zimmer planning/forecasting, customer service, sourcing, distribution, real estate and manufacturing operations in Indiana, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and Switzerland and coordinates operations functions across all businesses. He began his career at Zimmer in 1986 in the position of Supervisor, Inventory Control. He has since held positions of increasing responsibility including Director positions in Distribution Planning and Control, Customer Requirements and Field Planning, Supply Systems Implementation, US Distribution, Global Requirements Planning, and Manufacturing Operations. He most recently held the position of Vice President, Operations and Logistics. Mr. Stair holds Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and mathematics from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana, and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.

David Weidenbenner
Senior Vice President, Global Marketing -
Mr. Weidenbenner, a veteran of more than 25 years with Zimmer, was appointed Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, in May 2008. He has responsibility within the Reconstructive business for worldwide Brand Management, U.S. Marketing activities, Marketing Communications and Sales Training. He had most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Brand Management and U.S. Marketing. From 2006 to 2008, he served as Vice President, Global Hips and Extremities, and from 2004 to 2006, as Vice President, Global Brand Management, for Reconstructive products. In 2001, he was appointed Vice President, Global Hips Business, and was responsible for product development and hip brand management. Prior to 2001, he served in various capacities, including Director, U.S. Hip Marketing, U.S. Product Manager in hips and trauma, and Manager, Trauma Development. Prior to joining Zimmer, he was an engineer at Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan. Mr. Weidenbenner holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Business Administration from St. Francis College
