Senior Vice President, External Strategy Development, International AIDS Vaccine Initiative since May 2006. Mr. McGoldrick served as Executive Vice President, Bristol Myers Squibb Company, from October 2005 until his retirement in April 2006. He held the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Bristol Myers Squibb from January 2000 to October 2005. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel and President, Medical Devices Group from December 1998 to January 2000 and Senior Vice President and General Counsel from 1995 to December 1998.
Mr. McGoldrick has served on several governmental reform commissions in New Jersey. He is an invited participant of The Aspen Institute on the World Economy and the World Economic Forum (Davos). Before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, Mr. McGoldrick was a senior partner and executive committee member of the law firm of McCarter & English. He is a graduate of Harvard College and the Harvard Law School.

A retired AT&T Corporation executive, Ms. Bernard currently serves on the boards of two other publicly traded companies. She has established an excellent record over 30 years of leading large, consumer-facing organizations in competitive, highly regulated markets. Since retiring from AT&T in 2003, Ms. Bernard has focused on her work with a number of corporate boards and on civic activities. At AT&T, she served as President, AT&T Business, a $26 billion division with more than four million customers. She also served as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, AT&T Consumer, among other leadership positions.
In addition to her AT&T experience, Ms. Bernard also served in senior executive roles at Qwest Communications International, US West Corporation and Pacific Bell, where she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Telesis. She is a frequent speaker on women's leadership issues and served on the board of the International Women's Forum. Ms. Bernard holds a B.A. from St. Lawrence University, an MBA from Farleigh Dickinson University and An M.S. in Management from Stanford University.

President and Chief Executive Officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. since October 2009. Mr. Casper joined Thermo Electron in December 2001 as President of its Life and Laboratory Sciences segment. He was named Senior Vice President of the company in December 2003, and in March 2005 was given responsibility for all operating divisions. In November 2006, when Thermo Fisher Scientific was formed through the merger of Thermo Electron and Fisher Scientific, Mr. Casper was named Executive Vice President of the company and President of the Analytical Technologies Group. In May 2008, he became Chief Operating Officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific, and in October 2009, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Thermo Electron, Mr. Casper served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Kendro Laboratory Products. Before Kendro, he was President-Americas for Dade Behring Inc. He served as Executive Vice President for Europe, Asia and intercontinental for two years before that.
Mr. Casper began his career at Bain & Company as a strategy consultant and later joined Bain Capital, where he oversaw business development, strategy and business integration in select companies owned by Bain. Mr. Casper received an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School and is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he received a bachelor's degree in economics.

David Dvorak was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Zimmer Holdings on May 1, 2007.
Mr. Dvorak joined Zimmer in December 2001 shortly following the spin-off from Bristol Squibb. Prior to joining Zimmer, he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for STERIS Corporation, an Ohio-based leader in medical products sterilization and contamination prevention products and services. He practiced law with two major Ohio firms with a focus on corporate law, securities and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Dvorak received his B.S. in business administration (finance) from Miami University (OH) and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he was awarded The Order of the Coif.

Mr. Glasscock was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Anthem, Inc. in July 2001. Prior to joining Anthem Insurance, Mr. Glasscock served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Group Hospitalization & Medical Services, Inc., which did business as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of the National Capital Area, from September 1993 to January 1998. He oversaw its affiliation with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maryland and served as Chief Operating Officer of the holding company (CareFirst, Inc.) from January through April 1998. From 1991 to 1993, he served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of First American Bank, N.A. Prior to that, Mr. Glasscock served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Essex Holdings, Inc. and had a 20-year career with Ameritrust Corporation, his last role as Group Executive Vice President responsible for corporate banking activities. Mr. Glasscock earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Cleveland State University. He also completed the Commercial Bank Management Program at Columbia University. Mr. Glasscock is a director of WellPoint, Inc. and Sprint Nextel Corporation.

Chairman of the Board of Management of Bayer HealthCare AG since January 2006 and Chairman of the Bayer HealthCare Executive Committee since July 2004. Prior to joining Bayer Healthcare, Mr. Higgins served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 2001 to 2004. In this function, he also served as Chairman of the Biotechnology Council of New Jersey and on the board of the National Pharmaceutical Council. Prior to joining Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Higgins spent 14 years with Abbott Laboratories, most recently as President of the Pharmaceutical Products Division from 1998 to 2001. In this position he was in charge of Abbott Laboratories' pharmaceuticals business in the United States with responsibility for global pharmaceutical research and development. Mr. Higgins began his career in 1978 in Britain with Bristol-Myers. He then worked for Sandoz (1979 to 1984) and Fisons (1984 to 1987) prior to moving to Abbott Laboratories in the United States in 1987. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), a member of the Council of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA) and Vice President of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). Mr. Higgins graduated from Strathclyde University, Scotland and holds a B.S. in Biochemistry.

A retired director and executive officer of Biogen Idec Inc., Dr. Pickett serves on the Board of Overseers at Tufts Medical School and the Board of Visitors at Columbia University Medical Center. He is also an elected member of the Institute of Medicine of The National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Pickett served as President, Research and Development of Biogen Idec from September 2006 until his retirement in October 2009. Prior to joining Biogen Idec, Dr. Pickett held several senior R&D positions, most recently as a Corporate Senior Vice President of Schering Plough Corp. and President of Schering-Plough Research Institute. Prior to joining Schering-Plough, he held several senior R&D positions at Merck & Co. Dr. White previously served as the Chief of Spine Surgery at Beth Israel and Director of the Daniel E. Hogan Spine Fellowship Program. He is a graduate of the Stanford University Medical School, holds a Ph.D. from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and an A.B. from Brown University, and graduated from the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Dr. White is a recipient of the Bronze Star, which he earned while stationed as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in Vietnam. He is an internationally known and widely published authority on biomechanics of the spine, fracture healing and surgical and non-surgical care of the spine. He is nationally recognized for his work in medical education, diversity, and issues of health care disparities. Dr. White is a director of OrthoLogic Corp. (trade name Capstone Therapeutics).
